Warranty conditions
Standard warranty – You receive the following warranties for new equipment:
- 12-month full warranty
- 24-month partial warranty on framework (the customer bears work and travel costs)
Proper maintenance is a requirement for the warranties. The manufacturer specifies a maintenance interval of 12 months. proxomed offers a corresponding maintenance agreement.
On conclusion of the maintenance agreement, the customer receives a 24-month full warranty (if the agreement is concluded within the first 4 weeks after the delivery of the equipment).
No warranty is assumed for damage arising due to improper use or natural wear and tear. The proper use is defined in the operating instructions and, in the case of medical equipment, as part of the technical and specialist instructions. It is the customer's obligation to provide evidence of proper use.
No warranty is assumed for natural wear and tear in particular. Wear parts are not part of these warranty conditions.
Additional conditions for medical devices:
In accordance with § 4 of MPBetreibV, you as the user are obliged to maintain the equipment. The maintenance cycle is established in the medical devices logbook and amounts to 12 months for medical devices of proxomed.
For quality assurance purposes, the equipment must fulfil the legal provisions (especially the Medical Devices Implementation Act and the Medical Devices Operator Ordinance § 4) by means of safety-related checks to be implemented including associated metrological checks, as well as possibly necessary calibrations at regular intervals.
With the conclusion of a maintenance agreement at proxomed, these legal requirements are fulfilled. proxomed implements the work at the intervals specified by the legislature and the manufacturer.
